She started One Glove films to develop original drama and comedy ideas.
“Coming to drama from directing comedy and documentaries, I love real life, the absurdity of it. Cruel or warm, trivial or deadly, it’s all good.
“I love the drama that can be funny, the comedy that can be serious. I don’t want to predict the next line of dialogue in a script, I don’t want to be able to give that line to any other character. I like the specific, the particular and I like having a knot in my stomach.”
